Aims and Objectives:
- Discuss the PI leadership role in effective study identification, set up, recruitment and conduct
- Explore three elements of success in PI role: engagement, oversight and communication
- Identify the skills and behaviours required to be an effective PI
- Offer reassurance that as a PI ‘You are not alone’, help and support is available
