Please note there are now 2 sessions linked with the Feasibility Workshop. Session 1 focuses on Feasibility and Session 2 on Performance Management & Monitoring. You are not required to sign up to both sessions 

Target Audience: This training focuses on understanding the importance of delivering studies (commercial and non-commercial) to time and target, and how and why Trusts performance manage studies.  The target audience is all staff that are involved in the set up, and delivery of studies, including R&D staff, Principle Investigators, Research delivery staff and Study Support Service staff

Aims & Objectives:

  • Distinguish between Performance Monitoring and Performance  Management
  • Understand how the CRN Performance Monitors studies and the importance of Trusts having robust performance management processes to ensure successful study delivery
  • Understand how the CRN can support Trusts
  • Importance of Performance Management –Who, Why, What
  • Implications of Performance (Negative V Positive)
  • To improve performance which will impact on delivery outcomes
  • To provide hints and tips on improving performance and sharing good practice from the attendees
  • Expectations of Industry from a Sponsor perspective

Course Summary:This workshop aims to support health, research and development staff to understand all aspects of Performance Monitoring and Performance Management, and how to manage studies to deliver successfully.  The workshop is interactive and requires participation and engagement from Attendees.
