Target Audience: Research Delivery Managers, Clinical Research Specialty Leads, NHS and Academic Investigators, NHS and HEI R&D staff, RDS and CTU staff, and CRN Network staff as appropriate.

Aims & Objectives: This course goes back to basics on cost attribution. An introduction to the DH AcoRD Guidance will be provided and various scenarios will be explored to explain the differences between a research cost, treatment cost and support cost.

Attendees are advised to read the DH AcoRD Guidance Attributing the costs of health and social care research and development (AcoRD) and AcoRD Annex A prior to the training to support their learning.
